Sales representatives actively seek out and engage customer prospects as well as service in house accounts and leads. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. Sales representatives will report directly to the Sales Managers.
∙ Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
∙ Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
∙ Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
∙ Reach out to customer leads within 24 hours
∙ Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
∙ Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
∙ Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
∙ Analyze workload potential, track sales and status reports
∙ Supply management with information regarding customer needs, problems, competition and potential for new products and services
∙ Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
∙ Held accountable for checks and balances established in the work place
∙ Continuously improve through feedback
∙ Keep the showroom looking presentable at all times
∙ Be informed of the material we have in stock
∙ Follow policies and procedures set forth by the management team
∙ Attend mandatory bi-weekly sales team meetings
∙ Attend mandatory monthly staff meetings
∙ Attend mandatory quarterly review with the sales managers to review individual performance, goals, activity, upcoming jobs, and any concerns that you or the managers may have
∙ Participate in scheduled events that RockTops encourages for the team

Mike Hyer doesn’t do things a little bit. So when the opportunity to start a stone countertop company came up, he grabbed Tim Richardson and they plunged into it like Thelma & Louise. But, unlike those two, Mike and Tim used rock to their advantage. With decades of construction, remodeling and landscaping experience between them, Mike and Tim opened Rocktops* in 2013.
Rocktops’ original home was in Olathe near I-35 and 151 st Street. As staff, inventory and clientele quickly grew, so did the company’s reputation for service, quality and innovation. With added technology and machinery, the starter home felt tight. In early 2018, Rocktops moved the entire operation to its current spacious Showroom & Slabratory, also in Olathe, where the team has room to serve more clients and get more creative.
