Rocktops offers a state-of-the-art stone fabrication facility located in Olathe, KS servicing the production and installation of high quality countertop surfaces for our clients.
Rocktops has an immediate opening for a Full Time handy person to join our team. The responsibilities for this position will include; light residential electrical work, light residential plumbing, installation of metal supports, cabinet and drywall repair. The ideal candidate will confidently interface with Sales and Operations to deliver optimized project solutions to customers while consistently practicing our company CORE VALUES: Problem Solving, Work Ethic, and Positivity.

TYPICAL DUTIES (illustrative, not inclusive):
- Arriving at scheduled appointments at customer locations within agreed-upon and scheduled window of time.
- Disconnecting faucet and drain lines and reinstalling.
- Cutting down raised bars and rerouting electrical.
- Cutting cabinet openings to accommodate farm sinks.
- Light drywall repair (occasionally)
- Installation of metal supports
- Communicate any relevant information about the job to the salesperson, operations staff or production staff on a timely basis.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and photos to hand-off to office staff within 24 hours.
IDEAL QUALITIES:
- Strong communications skills both oral and written
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously
- Ability to work as part of a team and also be able to work autonomously when necessary
- Must hold valid driver’s license
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, lift, squat and stand for long periods
- Excellent attention to detail is a must!
Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
